We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator to join our skilled team in Pineville, North Carolina. This role offers the opportunity to work on unique, custom-built systems in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform GTAW/MIG welding on stainless steel with a focus on quality and precision.
Use and maintain a variety of machine shop tools.
Fabricate and assemble custom components and systems based on job specifications (non-production work).
Collaborate with the engineering team to interpret and execute tasks using detailed blueprints and technical drawings.
Work with vacuum and thin-wall tubing (≤ 3/16” wall thickness) – experience in this area is a significant advantage.
Ensure the final finish and assembly of fabricated components meet Elnik’s high standards.
Communicate effectively with team members across all departments and organizational levels.

Requirements:

5-7 years of experience in GTAW/MIG welding on stainless steel.
Strong proficiency with machine shop tools and processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints with accuracy.
Experience in vacuum and/or thin-wall tubing fabrication is highly desirable.
Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently under tight deadlines.
Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
