Ormco Expands Sintering Capacity with Third Elnik Systems Furnace

Ormco, a manufacturer of orthodontic products and solutions headquartered in Brea, California, USA, is expanding its sintering capacity at its Pomona, California, manufacturing facility. The company is adding a third furnace from Elnik Systems, headquartered in Pineville, North Carolina, USA.

The new MIM3009 furnace recently underwent factory acceptance testing at Elnik Systems, with members of Ormco’s engineering team receiving hands-on training ahead of the furnace being shipped to California.

Ormco has used Elnik Systems furnace technology in its manufacturing operations for more than a decade. The addition of the third furnace is expected to significantly expand the company’s production capacity at its Pomona facility.
