Highlights of the Water Debinder
The WD 3045 is designed to perform 1st stage
debinding of water soluble feedstock followed
by drying via hot air and vacuum. The WD 3045
operates with the help of a PLC and a computer
for easy programming, trending and record
keeping. The rack of the WD 3045 is designed
so that a full load of trays fit exactly the same
way as they would in an Elnik MIM 3045
sintering furnace. This allows the parts to be
staged on the trays of an Elnik MIM 3000
furnace and then put into the water debinding
system. After debinding the trays are pulled out
of the WD 3045 rack and put directly into the
sintering furnace.
The WD 3000 series water debinding system is
also offered as a WD 3002 and a WD 3009 so
that customers using a MIM 3002 or MIM 3009
sintering furnace can easily schedule the work
load between the two.
The use of a computer to drive the debinding
system results in many advantages. You can
store and recall every program entered for different sized parts and materials. The trends for
every run are stored automatically and may be recalled and or printed as needed. This is a
special advantage for industries such as aero space, auto and medical devices where
maintaining records and traceability is a must. The WD 3045 has a sophisticated core, but can
be easily operated by any operator with the assistance of a skilled person to design the
correct profile for the parts being processed.
